WAVE requires a Radio Shack Pro2005 or Pro2006 scanner equipped with an OS456‚Ñ¢ or a Pro 2035 with an OS535‚Ñ¢ computer interface, a Macintosh computer running at least System 7.1 (7.5.1 preferred) and having at least 1 Meg of RAM available and 2 Meg of free hard disk and an appropriate interface cable (see below).

  6. If the Speech capabilities are to be used, you will have to install the following system software from Apple: Sound Manager 3.0 or later, Speech Manager 1.0 or later and an appropriate Voice. Please refer to the individual products for information about their memory and disk requirements.

  8. Note: The Sound Manager version 3.0 is supported only on Macintosh computers with an ASC or comparable hardware. In particular, the Sound Manager version 3.0 is not supported on Macintosh Classic, Macintosh Plus, or Macintosh SE computers.
